Just looking around at prices I noticed a few sites have a lot better prices than newegg for some items. Would you recommend paying an extra $20+ just to get it all from newegg or should I get it all from there.

And also whats your experience with mwave.com been? I'm liking some of the deals I see there.

I just ordered parts for a new rig from newegg. I think it is easier to order from just one place. btw Newegg rox

I've heard nearly all reviews on Newegg to be positive, so I'd say buy from them. I'll buy from them also.

It's better to buy from one place so in case you have to return something it'll be easier for you. Plus cost of shipping will be lower.

newegg has great prices and service on the majority of their componenets. They overcharge for some things like X800s currently, so I get stuff like that elsewhere. If you find a nice deal somewhere else go for it, then get the rest of your rig off newegg.

I have had good experiences with Mwave, even though on some items their UPS Shipping can kill you. Newegg is my favorite followed closely by ZipZoomFly, I have had no problems ordering from either and never hesitate to do so, as my Visa bill is evidence enough of this. :D

Nothing but good experiences with mwave. I've only ordered from them a couple of times though. Newegg rocks. But I managed to find a local computer shop with parts comparable to Newegg, after shipping anyhow. :D

Thanks for the replies.

I'm thinking of going with mwave for my processor and motherboard, they have a nice deal where you get an A64, motherboard of your choice, and a free copy of farcry. For motherbards they have the Chaintech VNF3-250 for $69. So thats a good $23 less than newegg, processor the same price as newegg, and free farcry.

linkage

edit: Hmm wait a sec, when they say Mwave instant rebate, it looks like thats just right off the price, correct? No silly Mail in rebate?

For it doesn't matter too much. I bought a lot of stuff off of newegg and they're great. I also bought a couple of things off of ebay. The prob with newegg for me is since I live in california I have to pay tax, and when you but stuff off of ebay you don't :).

Newegg is a great place to shop. RMA'ing is great . Last time I RMA'ed I got a refund with no questions asked. Shipping is unbelievably good. Sometimes I get my packaged rushed to me before the weekend even with Free Express Fed Ex shipping. So I got my package in 2 days instead of the 3-5 business. And this happened on more than one occasion.
