Buying a Laptop. How easy is it to swap CPUs?

Hello,

I am getting ready to order a Gateway 3040GZ From Best Buy and I was wondering if there were any way I could swap out the CPU with a Pentium M or even a faster Celeron M?

hard. Laptops aren't made for that type of upgrade. It probably is possible, but I wouldn't recommend it. Its a pain to take apart a laptop anyway.

its possible, but very hard.........

When i took apart my brothers laptop, it was a nervous situation

for his, the heatsink has to come off before you can even take the casing off, and even then itd be very hard to put back together
