Buying a laptop from USA for use in UK : sensible?

Hi.
I would like to buy a Huawei MateBook X laptop in the UK where I live but cannot find any sellers left - the model has been superceded.
Some are available from the USA via Amazon, Newegg, etc., but I'm not sure whether equipment bought from abroad is compatible for use in the UK.
What things should I consider when thinking of buying a laptop from the USA for use in the UK.
Many thanks,

First of all US models will have a different electrical plug and will be wired to run from 120 VAC. An adapter of some sort will be required.

If a DVD player is involved ours will be region 1 and it will not play disks from other regions. This might be as easy to fix as telling the firmware to switch to another region.

Finally we have the NTSC video standard as opposed to PAL. I'm not sure if this matters so much in a laptop but it might, especially if optical disks are involved.

If there is no optical disk to worry about power might be the only issue.

Power supply is probably dual voltage but the plug will require a simple adapter. Keyboard layout will be slightly different e.g. the @ and " keys will be in different locations ... also obviously a $ key instead of a GBP key
