Buying a lappy is this a good one?

Gotta get a lappy for college, and other uses. I will just use it more. I also, just want an ibm. I prefer a thinkpad. Is this a good one off ebay?

BTW I ordered a Thinkpad R50e for $ 849 it comes with a 1.6 GHZ pentium M and a free shippin free extra 512MB memory module, I could have got an awesome gaming capcable laptop for the same price from dell / Compaq but no thanks, I want something that will last before turning my hair grey hence a lovely, trusty buissnes style thinkpad , mine is arriving today @ noon via USPS express and I am tingling with anticipation, this is my first Brand new thinkpad and I can't wait,
PS : don't get a P III, nor a P IV based thinkpad I was told though they are great but battery life on those sucks get your self a Pentium M one for the extra power savings. But if you intend to have a Thinkpad that barely leaves your Desktop and if you didn't like the IBm certefied offers take a look through these

Also I don't know the budget you are going for so let me know, so I can get a better idea.

thanks for the tips! the price is great on the r50e. a little out of my price range. but not that much out. its too bad i have to pay off my home depot card this month, or i will get hit with the interest, or i would order one too.

i will look at all the options. keep the tips coming man, you seem to have it together

I have an Idea go to newegg.com or overstock.com and check out the thnpads I showed you before, theses sites offer a service called Bill Me Later on all order $ 250 and up no credit card required, you order an R50e from there or a used T-series thinkpad from overstock, so you get to pay your credit card this month and three months from now you pay for the thinkpad. And thats about all the tips that I have in my pocket I am trying to remeber when I was Thinkpad Hunting if there was any other good places, but I will keep you informed.
