I've had great luck cruising the refurb section of newegg. They seem to add stuff all the time, sooner or later you can find what you want for a few bucks less.

Whats the difference between refurb computer parts and regular computer parts? Do they last just as long, does it even work ? hehhe

hmm i noticed when i looked at the pics for the case i said in the first one it had a deer psu in it
deer psu=teh bad

definition of refurbished is To make clean, bright, or fresh again; renovate.

so its like buying a refurbished game console, someone returned it because he/she found a problem or something iwth it and the company fixed it and sent it back but it has been labeled "refurbished" because of that. That is also why the price is lower.

Refurbished computer parts are like refurbished anything else, in most cases they last just as long but it depends on how complicated the part. I personally avoid refurbished hard drives because they are not fixed to the same clean room standards as new drives and tend to have much shorter lifetimes. I avoid refurbished monitors unless they are a really good deal. I don't see any problem with a refurb motherboard or PCI cards if one is trying to save money.
