buying a cannon g7

i have a chance to buy a semi used cannon powershot g7 for 125 dollars. Ive read reviews but of course, almost all are dated back to 2007... so im wondering how this camera compares to todays standards. I know very little (or nothing at all) about cameras so im not sure if its worth the bang for the buck.

DPReview didn't like the G7 very much, mostly because Canon dropped many of the good features of the G6 when they made the G7, but if it's in good condition it's probably a decent deal at $125.
