Why do you need something that makes a bowl for waffles?

Ok I see now the difference. I grew up with European type bidets where you get off the toilet and move to a separate plumbing fixture where u can wash with soap/water. Use a normal bath towel to dry off.

Sounds like you are talking about the Japanese types that give you a squirt of water as you sit on the toilet. If I were using the Japanese type, no way would I dry my ass with a towel. You have to use TP. If you wipe that leaves behind bits so instead I dab to mop up the water.
