I'm looking to buy a BBQ. Does anyone here have a Weber Q220?

http://www.weber.com/bbq/pub/grill/2007/q/Q220.aspx

I had pretty much decided on this one until the guy at Home Depot said that they don't do as good of a job cooking steaks as a regular BBQ. Any experiences would be appreciated.

I would love to get a full size BBQ but I live in a condo and it would be a pain to get one up to my roof top deck.

Looks good. Propane is a good choice as you won't smoke out your neighbors.

Hmmm... someone I know has a Weber grill that looks almost exactly like the one in the link, only his can do both propane and charcoal grilling. The charcoal briquettes are placed in two steel wire baskets that hang inside and are ignited by the propane. Once the charcoal is fired up you turn the propane off and grill like you would with a charcoal grill with all the charcoal-y flavors.

Get something with heavy cast iron grills if possible, they're so much superior than the wire grills. (just take good care of them)

Depends on the food imo. I just started using natural wood charcoal a week or two ago and MAN that stuff gets hot! I had a really hard time cooking my chicken correctly - it burned the outside and left the inside pink. On some foods that's great, on others not so much. Like it did great with my salmon fillets. I have a bag of both the regular and the natural wood stuff now.
