Hello all,

I recently upgraded my PC (need to change my signature), and am looking at upgrading my monitor. Newegg has some very appealing deals right now on a couple good 22" and 24" monitors, the Samsung 2232BW+ for $179 after MIR/free shipping, and the BenQ G2400WD for $289/free shipping...

I'm leaning towards the 24" BenQ for $289, but I'm a bit concerned about running future games at the high native resolution. Can someone explain to a newb how well a 24" monitor scales down to lower resolutions, and how good/natural this would look?

I don't think I'll have the horsepower to run games at 1900x1200 in a year's time, and I'm very curious about how scaling to lower resolutions looks and works on larger, 24" monitors.

Thanks everyone!

This monitor scales 1:1 very well. Don't sweat it
