buying a 21" HP P1120 monitor for $300

yes it does. but i'm not looking for reasonable. the only reason i would be shelling out this money for this type of monitor would be because this is a really awesome deal. i've looked online and most 21" crt monitors are at least $350-450 (not including shipping). i just don't want to make a huge purchase like this if it isn't a really good deal, since i know i'd be quite happy with a good 19"

I bought my hp p1120 used(3 years old) for slightly less than US$180, and it's a great monitor. If it's new with warranty(and not refurbished), $300 is really cheap. Compared to the Nokia 445XPro that it replaced, this monitor is perfectly flat, really sharp, really bright and has a smaller footprint. The only bad things I can think of are that it's 0.2" smaller(19.8" vs 20" viewable), you have to get used to the 2 damper lines(not an issue with me since I've worked with AG monitors before) and the FDTrinitron tube isn't as dark so blacks aren't as black as they could be.
