buying a 2011 sienna

found a good deal on a 2011 sienna with 30K miles. our 2000 sienna is starting to fall apart. weird noises in the engine, sliding doors not wanting to open. lights on the dash start blinking out of the blue... yea its time to upgrade.

I wouldn't. Our 2006 was a POS. O2 sensors failing left and right, door panels falling off, paint peeling and toyota refusing to fix paint issue.

how many miles? how much? been searching for a decent price on an '11 or '12 V6, but the dealers dont budge. missed out on an '11 with 10k miles for 23k a few weeks ago. oh well. i was looking at the base,but it seems the LE is a better upgrade

Unless your kids have destroyed the interior I wouldnt be so quick to dump the 09. Whats the mileage?

The power door issue may be the worst of your problems since those engines are pretty bulletproof if you manage to change the oil. What kind of noise is it?

i got it Friday night. is a 2011 sienna LE v6 with 30K miles. its Toyota certified so it has the 7 year 100K mile warranty along with the 12 month 12K bumper to bumper. it was a lease trade in from Flordia (according to carfax), 1 owner so no harsh winters.

dealer wanted 26,989 i talked them down to 22K. So i feel with the vehicle i got the price for i got a good deal.

lol no the kids have not destroyed the interior, its in really good shape. my van is a 2000 not a 09.

the noise is when its in gear and the tires are rotating. ive had it at a couple of shops and nobody can find the cause. I have ignored it for a few years but its gotten worse. the engine is in great shape i have OCD when it comes to oil changes and only have used synthetic.

I got my 2000 in 2002 as a lease trade in and i have got my money out of it thats for sure.

looked at them but to get one that is comparable in price to the toyota i would have to drop to the 2009's and they have a crap load of miles on them.
