To the OP: it soley depends on whether you can afford it now or not .. i dont think the price is going to reduce a greate deal, after the price reduction takes place...
 
buy something under 250$.and start saving for an x2.do not invest in 3800 or 4000.noway.if u dont hav money probs then u decide
 
These boards are goona get pretty confusing with the different types of 3800+s and 4000+s. Try to say '3800+X2' or 'X2 3800+' if you can.

Back on topic, the new dual cores look great. Theyll be a great choice at their price range.
 
I really don't care for dual-core until they can match the single-core prices. What will happen to single core 3800+ when August 1st comes around?
