Well I was planning on buying the following component for my new system:
Intel e4400
Gigabyte 965P-DS3
E-VGA 8800 GTS 640 MB
With the recent price drop of the Q6600, the e4400 seems to be going for about $130 (CDN) the DS3 is also going for about $130.
My inital plan was to hold off on buying the components until I bought the video card, which I think is a bit too pricey at the moment. I was going to wait until end of August before purchasing in anticipation of Bioshock.
I don't follow the trend of CPU prices that much, so my question to the experts is... do you think the price of the e4400 will drop any more, or is this the rock bottom price and it will just get discontinued before it drops in price?
