No, but just look at the SGS2 numbers. This is on an even faster 21mbps max modem.

You're just not going to get more than mid-single digits regularly with HSPA unless/until you double the bandwidth (i.e. T-Mo's 42mbps version).

Aren't you lucky to get 3Mbps from most 3G phones? Even if the iPhone 4S isn't the fastest HSPA+, it's still HSPA+ and I would imagine doubling the speed is going to be a trivial accomplishment over the iPhone 4. Maybe I'm wrong. Guess we'll see in a few days.
 
If you have a 4, I'd hold off on the 4s, it's faster etc..., but, you'll kick yourself when the iP5 comes out.

No flipping idea when it'll come out, but I suspect it'll be pretty good...
