If there are ISO files on sites like mydigitallife so you can create your own data disc, why would you bother ordering from a store? Do you get better prices by buying direct from Microsoft?

I understand it's possible to break or lose a disc but what is the purpose of ISO files?
 
I'd bet a lot of it is that physical distribution is the devil they know, and a devil non-technical and older people trust more.
