Buy higher rated RAM?

I have a MSI K8N Neo4-F mobo and an Athlon 64 3000 Venice Core cpu. I plan on overclocking it and I was wondering if it would be smarter to buy RAM rated higher than my mobo's ddr400 standard in order to make overclocking easier? This will be my first time oc'ing so help is appreciated 🙂.

CPU speed matters more than RAM speed. For example, I can o/c my Athlon 64 3000+ Venice Core from 1.8 GHz to 2.7 GHz. Using memory dividers, I still run my RAM at near DDR400 speeds. Could I run my RAM faster? Would it help? Probably. But it does not help as much as o/c the CPU does.

Nope! Highspeed ram is a waste of money on A64's. Just use a memory divider and keep your ram at or below 200mhz (DDR400)

So I could get ddr400 ram and keep it at 200mhz and raise my fsb and be fine? Err, anyone know a really good guide to overclocking because I really only know the basis of it I think.

edit: I just found this: http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=263753
Explains to me alot. So as I raise my fsb I need to raise my ram speed as well?
