this seems to be a trend. a while back i saw people selling frozen dinners, bread, and now cereal. People selling pies, and cakes...

Not sure where they got all those boxes..?

Kind of like the people that come to your house.."Hey, I have some good meat here at great prices." Where did the meat come from? "Oh, leftovers from a large order." Or, "from a local butcher.." does he have a license to sell meat? do you have a current health card from the hehealth inspection?

I am wondering if some of these people selling things are either just bored or need drugs.

Last week, someone was selling a cracked switch plate with grease smudged on it for a dollar. I guess they did not know that a switch plate new is cheaper than that, without the crack or grease stains.

Times are tough.

Reminds me of my Working Days (Union), once worked with a guy who worked every day like me, overtime more often than not, but he drove a raggedy car & ratty clothes. We were out of town on a job, he is sitting at the table drinking Crown Royal & telling me how he & his wife go to a Church & buy deeply discounted groceries! Like 10 cent boxes of cereal, etc.
Yet he is drinking expensive bourbon.

I mean, come on, 40-60 hours a week at Scale money & you shop at a donated food pantry?
Maybe it's just me, but I would let the less fortunate have the discount, and I would be embarrassed to be seen there!
