But it's damn slow! Placed an order for 2 DVDs on 8/25 and I still don't have them in my hands. Online tracking says they are in CA...and I'm on the other coast!

Even playcentric sent me my order within a week.

Yep, free shipping, while free, is suck. I just got a Barnes & Noble book today that I ordered 3 weeks ago via free shipping.

Unfortunately, the "free" shipping is actually "media rate" shipping. I believe this is equal to 3rd class shipping through the USPS. I also had to wait nearly two weeks to receive a book from Buy.Com - even though it was shipped out the same day I ordered it. If you need to receive something quicker, then pay a few more $$ to upgrade the shipping. Otherwise, be prepared to wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait ... and wait.
