I browsed Techbargains today and found that Generic 16x10x32 CD-Writer is for only $79.99 @Buy.com today:link
Any comments about this?

Unless anyone can verify that this "generic" drive is a plextor in disguise, I'd rather go with the 16x Liteon drive from Newegg.com for $75. It's a great drive, and you know exactly what you're getting.

I've had great experience ordering from buy.com, but I'm not surprised that they're almost out of business when they don't know the difference between "mistake" and "sale."
