This actually sound the same as my friend's Ipod InMotion. Just lacks the Ipod dock and connection is made by standard 1/8" mini plug cord. Works with most portable audio source. The speaker is one 2" per side instead of two 1". The whole thing runs on 4 AA batteries (claims 24 hours on a set). I've had it running for several hours straight on NiMH and still going strong. The sound will not crack plaster but is quite pleasing. Whole thing closes to flat box ~50% larger than VHS tape. Beats paying $120 for the white one with a dock.
