I didn't see this up here yet. A search on google showed prices elsewhere are $1,100 or more.

Enjoy!

EDIT: Thanks to rrahman1 below, follow this link first and recieve an additional $15 off:
$15 off

EDIT 2: They raised the price to $999, still fairly hot, but not quite as good.

(I wish there was a bigger discount for signing up for a BUY.com credit card , they only give you 30$ credit towards an item)

<yell> are there any real world pictures of this thing? </yell>

All I have seen on every site is this picture form Philips that shows two color theme, and how the light reelects off the glossy glass... but how does it really look like?

I'll take a pic when I get home. Perhaps with the 360 on or just with say HDESPN?

My A75 doesn't take good pics anymore but here's a couple of pics. Also, I noticed I have a different model than the one at Buy.com. Mine is the 42TA648BX. The only differences between mind and this one is this one contains HD Natural Motion and Pixel Plus 3HD. But mine has USB. Everything else is the same.

Text In this one you can see the invisible speakers in the rear which sound phenomenal for stock speakers.

CNET gave this a so-so review. Their biggest complaint was light black levels. Still though a good price with free shipping.
They also have the 47" for $1099.99 with free shipping. Link

As of 9/1/08, Funai will assume responsibility for the sourcing, distribution, marketing and sales of all Philips' consumer television activities in the United States and Canada.

Not sure how this will affect support if your Philips/Funai TV needs servicing.
