I don't think the DVD's been released yet. It is one of the most sought after titles for DVD, though, just like Episode I and the other Star Wars Titles.

And who knows when they will ever be released. Lucas is holding out on us for one reason or another.

Does anyone know if this is widescreen or standard format? I checked the info at buycom but I can't seem to find which it is.

Just for the record... Lucas is prolly holding out on releasing these on DVD cause he was one of the pioneers of laserdisc and he doesn't want his stockholders to think he's bailing out on them....but why should we have to suffer?

Great deal! I almost bought two sets, but I'm not really sure I'll need one for my Dad for Christmas, so there's no reason to take the oppertunity away from someone else. 121 remaining as of 8:00EST, doesn't look like it'll be a sellout.

Why is he holding out? Hello money grubbers. Sell it now on VHS only so you idiots will buy it. Wait a few years and sell it on DVD only. Guess what, he knows you'll but it AGAIN.

:)
