Wind, don't sweat any over that--this is standard PC133, hopefully with Infineon 7.5ns chips on it.

Does anyone know whether there's a Kingston rebate that applies to this stuff? There have been so many of those around lately it may be that we make this great deal a super one.

:)

Actually not bad of a deal considering you get Kingston RAM.

Add 2 sticks - coupon = $35.9 w/ free shipping.

Shipping was $5.25 for three of them. The limit.
Not bad. I'll use them for three value computers for relatives that are too cheap to pay more.

This is OK if you really WANT 64Mb chips. But when you consider
that, e.g. Mushkin had good quality Infineron chip PC133 128Mb
memory sticks for $44 a couple of weeks ago, it doesn't seem
that hot. (And there was no limit on the Mushkin deal).

(For that matter, Mushkin still has that memory for $49...Only
a tad more expensive that 2x$23=46 for 128Mb of this Buy.com "deal"
memory).

Kwad Guy,
You had me all excited there about Munkin Infineon PC133 128MB for $49. I just checked and it was $79 + shipping.

As far as this deal goes, if (and this is a big IF) this memory has Infineon chips, then it is a very good deal. If it comes with lesser chips, than I would call the deal just OK.
I am using a 64MB stick of Kingston Value Ram PC133 w/Infineon chips and it is every bit as good as my Munkin Infineon ram. CL2 at 140MHZ no problem.

The question everyone should be asking is "Do you feel lucky?"

Hey, the memory I bought at Mushkin for $44 was their simple
"value RAM PC133" (or whatever they call it). No mention of
Infineron on the Web site. But what they sent (with a sticker
on it saying "Value Ram PC133") did, in fact, have infineron
chips.

Thanx for the tip on mushkin:) Its mushkin, not munkin by the way for that other guy hehe. I got 2 128mb pc133 sticks for $104, so its not 80 bux.

Strange, the link at the top went to the "Clearance page" yet when you go through the "home" page and click on the "deal of the day" link, it takes you to a different url page. Now does that mean that when the deal of the day is over, this is still good in clearance???? Looks that way to me.

this seems like a pretty good price if you want 64mb. i just wish the deal of the day at buy.com would do a 256mb pc133 sometime in the near future for a really good price. i just picked up 2 of the 128mb at outpost ($40 each after rebate) and have only one open slot now and want to fill it with 256mb..vroom
