ehh, I'd pass on a Fujitsu. esp when it has a measly 5400 RPM rotational speed and a 512 buffer. remember, the most important aspects to consider in buying a hard drive for speed are RPM, buffer size and access time. Otherwise if you are just looking for space, then i suppose this drive is ok.

Nowadays, nearly all drives, both 5400 & 7200 RPM, have at least 15 or 20 gig platters, so the platter density doesn't really come into play.

I would count access time as being the most important, then RPM and cache. Just my opinion...

COLD!.. if you are looking for 5400 RPM add just a few dollars more and get the 40GB ones thru pricewatch.. of course, we weep about shipping charges...
