Buy.com: D-Link 802.11g 54Mbps Wireless USB Network Kit - DWL-922

I just bought this off ebay for $25 shipped. Im done with rebates after my current struggle for a $100 rebate from MSI. Ill upgrade the firmware right away and let you guys know how it all works.

Im going through 2 walls and have alot of electronic equipment near everything and still get a decent signal, 11-20mbps, although it drops and instantly connects now and then. And I did the firmware upgrade.

I'm going through about 2 walls also, 30 feet away, and I have between 36-54mbps connection between the D-Link router and my Linksys Wireless-G USB adapter (the D-Link USB adapter going unused since I like my Linksys adapter sitting on top of my desk for better signal).

Very good deal for the kit, I'm happy.

Ive had my di-524 for about 2 weeks, after updating the firmware and changing the channel it hasnt dropped yet and is givin excellent 54mbps through 2 walls, no drops with the G122.

How do you know when it drops? I bought this when my old wireless died and have been using it for over a week. I haven't noticed it dropping?

My only problem is that I can't get it the usb thingie to work with a couple of laptops that have the drivers for a linksys pcmcia wilreless adapter installed. I put it in my desktop and it works, but I can't get it to work with the WEP enabled, but encryption does work with the linksys adapter??

Edit: Ahh, I just realized your talking about dropping the wireless signal. I haven't used that much so I can't say about that.

Yea it definetly doesnt work without the drivers and the other drivers and likely conflicting with it. Ive had no trouble with WEP and the usb adaptor, I use 64bit WEP.
