Here is what happened to me. I ordered $150 worth of merchandise and called buy.com to get #30 off the purchase. The CSR was very nice. She did ask me where I got the code and I just told her "I got it off of the internet"

. She said ok and then took the coupon code and told me it would appear as a seperate credit to my citibank card. Yesterday I got this e-mail from them:

Not sure what the "Since your experience with order #XXXXXXXXX
did not live up to our high standards" meant because she was very nice and not a harsh word was spoken. I guess maybe they just use some kind of coding to justify the $30 off coupon. Oh well, I got my $30 back.
