Guys, just like I posted elsewhere, this just applies IMHO to this particular coupon, which was a business store only coupon that was mailed out but ended up getting posted on the net. The $10 new customer coupon works just like always, and I will bet that other coupons will come up that work normally without calling in for anything. Don't get your panties in a knot quite yet....

ummm why can't you just call. Assuming you aren' 14 and have a whiney voice. I just called and had mine added. Then i called back and talked to another csr who verified it. Unfortunately you can't see the coupon online, you are charged and then credited 30 dollars. but still even when i got coupons off of techbar ins the link NEVER worked for me. It would not add it to my cart, so i always called buy.com and they happily added it for me

i hope this is not buy's new policy....i shop at buy is because they give out 30 off coupon for everyone(sometimes)...usually..hot deals will come out at this time...but if they change it...i hope the next close online store is buy dot com..that's all

i hope buy.com doesn't close, you people are just so mean sometimes if you don't get the hot deals. Nothing lasts forever. Buy.com has improved a lot since the old days and the should be commended on the numerous hot deals we have gotten from them.

I agree. Buy.com has improved a lot. Their prices are low (even before coupon), they pay for your return shipment (at least on an exchange), and they always seem to have someone answer the phone quickly whenever I call. Great company in my opinion.

I still remember Buy.com used to have $10/$20 off with $10/$20 minimum purchase. Even with no coupons, they still have low prices.
I sure hate to see them go like those great companies such as Onvia (at least no more hot deal with Firstsource & no free shipping), Mercata, Accompany/Mobshop etc.
