buy.com is giving away a Razor Scooter with every purchase of the Palm IIIc color organizer.

Use a $30 off coupon to make the deal even sweeter (you can get the coupon at any of your favorite deal sites). That means you're getting a free Razor Scooter worth $70, plus $30 free, making that a total value of $100 entirely free. Your final cost to grab the Palm IIIc and Razor Scooter is $369 plus some change for shipping.

(Please note, HotDealFinder and buy.com are not responsible for accidents resulting from simultaneous use of the Razor Scooter and Palm IIIc)

Go grab the $30 off coupon and run a search for 10242630.

I see TONS of people on these things every day. I was at TRU buying a gift the other day, and one of the clerks was asked by a parent if they had any Scooters in stock. The clerk rudely and in a very tired voice replied "Out of stock, all gone." I asked him about it, and he told me that he's been getting that question all day long and got very tired of it. First it was Pokemon now Scooters. What has the world come to.

The world has come to what it's always been:
media and hype driving consumers to think they want the 'hottest' products or the products that 'everybody else has'. I'm sure these Scooters are actually fun to shoot around on, but they can't be that fun. Even in Europe every kid and his buddy has one of these things. Good marketing, I must say.

I think you have it backwards.....the media hype is because everyone wants one and they want to be the one to sell it to you.
As a grandma three times over with two back surgeries under my belt and another looming, I wouldn't be caught dead (or rather, that is the only way you would find me...aka my shot at roller blading) on a skooter.
BUT, and a rather large one at that, all of the kids under 14 around here never let these things out of their hot little hands. These are compact and easy to tote, not like getting somewhere on a bike and then having to park it, not like roller blades that you have to change and hang around your neck. I am fortunate to live in a neighborhood with very little traffic pattern and their are gangs of kids rolling around on these things. They stand, they sit, they crouch, they jump, they swerve, they see who can roll the longest. When Mom yells "You have five minutes to get home, young man", they have an extra three minutes of play time.

Now, if it was a Pokeman you were talking about.......

Costco gets them in regularly for $59.99. Razor brand name, clear wheels. But they go out of stock as soon as they come in so keep checking.
