i think hes trying to say that Gigabyte is planning on bundling their dual-core 6600gt with their mobo in january for less then the price of some 6800 series cards...

Why would one need an SLI mobo for this though? Presumably the SLI jumper is ON the card, no? I dont get it...

Does this mean if you put two of these cards in a SLI mobo, you are actually using 4 GPU's!!!???
I dont see a slot on the card for it to be bridged with another card...

No, you can't get 4XGPU. The SLI function is already occupied by the 2 GPUs, even though they're physically on the same card.

Read an article recently about the Gigabyte "3D1" dual-6600GT card, and the testers had problems getting it to work on non-Gigabyte mobo's... I believe it was posted here on AT news...
