I am getting a new computer in the next few weeks. I was going to get a 3200 nm to overclock to 2.4-2.5 mhz. Is this the best processor to get? I heard it was better than the 3000+ nm b/c of the multiplier ratio. How about spending the extra hundred to get the 3500+ to overclock?? Is it that much better?? I was under the impression the 3200+ 90nm was the best overclocker for the money.

yeah thats the same cpu ill be getting around christmas. according to some benchmarks ive seen you could get 2.5-2.6 on stock cooling which is insane. the 3500 is not worth it if youll be overclocking the 3200.

yeah, thanks. Those were my thoughts exactly. It seems they overclock to the same speed, and the 3200+ is $100 less.

Well, I had to go down to 2335 to keep F@H stable. And I have a great PSU, and the same HSF Anand used. Don't count on 2.5-2.6, but they are create for $200
