buttons not working

Hi all,

I have the subject problem in the forums. All my posting buttons except for the quick post button do not work and the new topic button does not work for me. This is the case in both IE and Firefox 1.0. IE has been patched to the latest available. My specs are, A64 2800+, 1 gig DDR400 RAM, 160gb hard drive and chaintech vnf3-250 mobo running on XP Pro SP1. Can anybody help me with this? I am on a computer in my college lab and all the buttons work great, so i dont really know what the problem is.
 
If it isn't a popup blocker then it is because Java is disabled. Most of the buttons are java based, and a large number of them create popups.
