ironically I was out of jeans yesterday after work and had to settle for the button fly pair...

I like them, to me they look a bit more classy.

The zipper is the obvious victor.

Now we just need to go towards a magnetic clasp. They even have a built in "stretch" for those that exert more force upon their garments.

Topic summary is backwards; in no way are buttons a torture device in comparison to the interlocking teef of a zipper (metal or not). They both open as quickly so that's not an issue. For dudes, the notion of "fishing one's hoo-hoo dilly" through aforementioned li'l toof lined slot is madness. As is wrangling it out of undergarments and past a tucked shirt and then stuffing it back in willy-nilly with total disregard for comfort. So, the fastener and the pant flaps must be opened regardless of the former's type. Equating that to dropping trou to the knees is simply a red herring. Finally, buttons are more aesthetically pleasing and sans gender bias.

If you don't unbutton the top button, then you are a woman who never learned how to use the restroom. 2 second rule, if you fiddle with your junk for more than 2 seconds, you're a girl or have tendancies that need to be "tried out" to see if that is more your style.

when u unbutton the top one the others sorta just peel out easy, they rely on the top button, once washed they are very easy to deal with. perhaps its a bit stiff at the store but good ones become stupid easy quick i prefer them, buttons let the jeans crinkle better when u sit down so u don't sometimes get a false boner with a stiff zipper.

My favorite pair of jeans are buttonfly. Maybe you need to get used to them, I can undo them really quick, and buttoning up only take a few seconds. The added benefit is I don't have to worry about a "There's Something About Mary" situation happening to me on the zip up.
