There is no excuse for any government officials to use private email in an official capacity if the intent is to circumvent transparency and accountability. Glad to see you finally give a damn about emails.
Psst, we all "gave a damn" about emails. One investigation was enough and after it didn't turn up any crimes we let it go. You should try it some time.

Your comparison of the two situations must mean Javanka got a similar investigation/admonishment from the FBI, but no charges. Link?

Funny how both of them somehow missed Hillary being raked over the coals for years for that, yet did it anyway.

Everyone gave a damn about emails, they just didn't go absolutely batshit crazy over the topic because it didn't merit that.

In this case Jared is using an encrypted messaging app, meaning whatever messages he sent are likely impossible to recover by any means and so we simply have to take his word that he screenshotted every single line of every official conversation he had and submitted it. I'm sure nobody here actually thinks that's true.

Judging from Republicans' reaction to Clinton's email server I assume Republicans will be opening an investigation into the White House any minute now. Aaaaaaany minute now.

Poor Hillary. The Trumps have few friends in the FBI and DoJ. Javanka will fall under investigation sooner or later.

Anyone up for some history? How about Hillary and her use of a private email server... as in who recommended that she use a private server because the ones the government provided were crap? Anyone remember Condoleeza Rice? How about the person who recommended to Rice that she do the same thing? Anyone remember Colin Powell?

How about one more: Anyone remember the Bush II White House email server scandal with destroyed hard drives and all?

Pepperidge Farm remembers... :)

Not going to try and defend your faulty comparison, just a quip about 'the Clinton Network'? Boooooo hiss.

They need friends like Hillary had, that James Comey fellow for instance. Poor Hillary indeed.

Hillary hate is a disease of the mind. When the FBI let it go, so did every reasonable person in America. Try it.

Not really but nice try
Not really what? Are you saying you know what we cared about better than we did? Or are you saying you let it go when you brought it up in this thread where it isn't relevant unless we really didn't care?

So true. Now, if you were not filled with an unconscious and irrational conviction that you personally are of such gift that your notions of the transparency and accountability, and not of those who have made it their life’swork to objectively adjudicate such matters legally, and not also as some inbred whim of political affiliation, inculcated into them as it was in you by the chemically addictive secretions into your fevered brain by an over amped amygdala, as if these had any objective relationship to each other, then and only then would there be any real force of sincerity to your comment.

But no, as is your usual case, we see from you, instead of objective reality, only the mashinations of a mind so clinging to the life raft of substitute respectability offered by an ego stroking and emotionally sick ideology.

May I say then, that for those who have no inner transparency at all, and who are in deep denial and thus unaccountable to reality, your admonition rings hollow.

I recommend epsom salt baths and walks in the woods to help you come down. Everything you fear has already happened.

I am allergic to epson salts and the woods have ticks. I like yoga. It soothes my amygdala and has the added benefit of strengthening my urethra to hit piles of straw with laser precision.

So... does anyone here think that WhatsApp end-to-end encryption is really government-proof? That the FBI or NSA doesn't have a way in to monitor things if they need to (or at least get dates/times/phone numbers?)

Would be lovely to see javanka get caught red handed...

Doesn’t evangelicals rallying behind Trump indicate that they don’t truly care about family values and the moral fabric of society? I can’t speak to what you care about. I simply observe.

Yes, that is true of evangelicals. However, the investigation into Hillary confirmed that the intent was not to circumvent transparency or accountability. So why should we have cared more than we did?

It's only to be expected you would have issues with anything that could help you. It's the defining attribute of ourr condition. It's how we learned to survive the constant rejection of self. It would however help were you to go in the direction of what you reject because everything you fear has already happened. The tiger will pace his rut after the bars of his cage are removed. You could test that.

I don't think you get it. We're still waiting for conservatives to actually give a shit about emails, in any sort of honest way. You think they'll support the same sort of investigations into the Trump family that were aimed at Hilary?

Do you honestly believe that?

Until you address what democrats/liberals actually think about the email issue, your posts are rather pointless.
