the CSR (who actually knew what she was talking about) said that they are COMPLETELY out of it, and will NEVER order it again, as it was a clearance item. the parts do not exist. so, if anybody who ordered more than *20* (mutter, mutter) would be so kind as to get me one-three, i'd appreciate it

not to be rude..but if you wait 4 days before you get on a deal...then chances are..no matter what it is.....it will be gone..if 1 person orders 1000, or 1000 people order 1, the net result is still the same

Heh, I just took mine apart and sure enough it's just a plain old lighter with the flint and wheel removed and turned up kinda high. Also the lighter that comes in it is refillable.
These make great cigar lighters when you are on the golf course. Ordered some for gifts. Thanks.

Every now and then Radio Shack as a good deal. You should also try to get in good with one of the B/M employees. RS Stores always have a big list of disco/devalue items that are never priced right in the store. You could find a Hot deal there as well. Ape Out

What kind of butane do you use in these things? I tried refilling with some "Ronson Multi Fill" Butane but the flame is extremely small compared to the origianl butane that comes with the torch.
