There's a group I haven't heard about in a long time. When we were teenagers in my girlfriends (At the time) parents' Aerostar, we used to rock out to these guys.

Yeah, I was going through my old mix tapes from the early 90s and found one with a bunch of their music.

I had the same experience, rockin' out with a female to Violent Femmes.

He is much more clean cut than I had imagined.

I saw VF live when i was 13-14 years old... been around 10 years.


Niche band... I still love it and this video says a lot.. Is that really the main singer? This is a band that is easy to replicate.


Edit:

When I saw them live, the band did not look like anything remotely similar to the lead singer.

Most amazing part of the Femmes is that its an 80's band!

I mean serioulsy, they were at least 5+yrs ahead of their time.
