busy weekend...

First off all, as cool as a nice exhaust system is for a daily driver, driving 500 miles on the freeway SUCKS! It's going to take a few days for the midrange in my ears to recover.

Still throwing around the idea of a twin turbo Terminator, but in the mean time I just couldn't live with the Eaton after having driven a Kenne Bell car before.

I forgot how scary it is hitting it in first gear with warm drag radials and losing visibility of the street until the shift.

Very nice numbers. Those engines are incredibly capable. Are you still on the stock IRS?

Billetflow brace but its getting full delrin and aluminum bushing set and Fore Precision billet diff cover that eliminates the need for a brace. Have sat on the parts for over a year now, just... done it before and been too lazy to do it again.

Hunting down a P0171 (lean bank 1) that mostly shows up on idle and cruise. After swapping upstream O2s and still getting the same bank 1 code, I have a suspicion and replaced the breather you see in the photo with a PCV hose plumbed in after the MAF like I originally had it. I tried the breather because "everyone else does it" and it could supposedly "be tuned to work with it" and would require not punching a hole in the intake bits, but I knew better than to just have one breather with the vacuum side PCV still hooked up... /facepalm

So far 40 miles with no code, but I won't know for sure until I get the scanner and look at the long terms and see if they go down.

Those kinds of numbers to the ground would likely put the fear of god into a stock ZR1 / Viper GTS / etc in a straight line 😀

I followed a mustang on an on-ramp yesterday... it was for about 10 seconds, and I couldn't stand it. I don't know how he could drive around like that the entire time. Anyway, carry on.

Uploaded the wrong PIDs for long term to the handheld on the way out this morning, but short term is oscillating around 1.000 where its supposed to be, with bank one slightly lower, indicating that the long term should be coming down a well. No codes still.

Looks like the PCV breather was the culprit. 2 days with no codes and fuel trims are now stable at 1.000 +/- and significant digits of bank 1 and 2 pulse widths are now identical under all conditions. The P0171 System Lean Bank 1 code was popping up as fast as I could clear it before (bank 1 was pretty fat before, PCV vacuum inlet on the manifold is closer to that side). The slight hesitation I had before when going to WOT along with burning eyes and throat are now gone 😛

Tune around unmetered air my ass. Amazing how sensitive EFI is to the smallest little thing.

Not bad 🙂
What kind of fuel pump(s) are you running?
Throw some Q16 in that puppy and lets see some numbers.

Stock twin Cobra pumps with a KB boost a pump and 60# injectors. Plenty of duty cycle left.

Will slowly replace with triple Ford GT pumps, Fore Precision hat, Zone 5 FPDM (returnless fuel pump controller), bigger rails, and 105# high impedance injectors before I pursue more power

Don't you mean C16 ? 😛

Why C16? I think Q16 costs almost the same no? I've heard people making more power with Q16 vs C16.
How much are the stock twins and the bap good for?

I had a 40amp bap but sold it (selling car). I've got a intank walbro and an external walbro . I hoping with those alone I can do 700.
Good luck getting the 103# injectors to idle nicely 😉 . My 83lb dekas suck balls at idling.

Never heard of Q16.

Stock pumps and injectors are good for around 600 WHP. With the BAP and 60# injectors, not sure where the pumps give up. The pumps are actually quite good, it's the FPDM that usually starts to shut down at high duty cycles.

I would recommend you try it if you do go for race gas. I personally picked up 40whp just by adding Q16 and bumping the timing to get mbt. Boost remained the same.
