I have two more weeks before I move out of the country...
For those who remember I am being relocated to Santiago Chile for my job..
I am going crazy right now...
getting passport for my son...work visas...selling all my furniture
cancelling all the accounts (cell phone, tv, cable, electricity)
preparing to move out
talking to landlord about the move (get deposit back)
packing clothes
seing I will not have enough space with the 5 suitcases I am alowed to take with me in the plane...
oh well...I really want to be there already

yes moving is a PITA to say the least.
i hate it, its a good excuse to go on a rampage and throw a bunch of old junk out
im kind of a packrat and i need an excuse to start donating/throwing stuff away.

no pay raise
but the cost of life in Chile is about a fifth of the cost of life in NYC
I will be able to afford a 2000 sq feet apartment
a full time maid
maybe a chauffeur...
I chose the position
it's a great work oportunity (i will be the head of the company over there)
it's just a lot of work to get there
