This isn't actually happening to me, but someone else says that BIOS(person actually says he's seeing it in some windows program) reports a temperature of -32 C on his MSI mobo chipset. The CPU is properly reported and idling at 29-ish. So, unless there's a poltergeist or some psychi gateway opening up at that precise spot, I think the sensor is busted. I should also mention that the main problem is that the fan for that chipset is temperature controlled and is not running at full at all times. This person has also tried reinstalling windows without any change. Is this problem software or hardware related (i.e. can it be fixed without going to radioshack, soldering or RMAing?).
Thanks a lot.
