I am guessing this is where the orange menace and pompeo were saying that the corona virus came from a lab.
And that they had the proof. But never revealing anything about said, proof.
Apparently pompeo is now backing away from his claim that the CV came from the lab in Wuhan

The report was made by a contractor of the DoD, named Sierra Nevada/MACE but the DoD had no part in the making of
this report. This MACE team seems to have formulated this conclusion of an "event" at the lab by following the cell phone movements
of lab workers, along with misreading of satellite images, traffic patterns.

"According to Senate aides who have reviewed the document, there appear to be issues with the analysis. One of those sources
said the report “doesn’t quite pass the smell test.” Another congressional source told The Daily Beast that the report was “not based on actual intelligence.” "

It seems that this admin wanted so badly to have the CV be a fuckup of the Chinese themselves, that they were willing to grab
onto anything that would support that premise.

Then a second dossier made its way to Australia.
"Since then, former Australian foreign ministers and media outlets around the world have openly doubted the origins and intent of the dossier, suggesting that
it was leaked to The Daily Telegraph by U.S. interests looking to give credence to the claims made by Trump and Pompeo. “It seems the U.S. embassy gave
a confected report to an Australian newspaper
inflating baseless claims that the COVID19 virus was hatched in a Chinese laboratory in Wuhan,” former
Australian Foreign Minister Bob Carr told The Sydney Morning Herald "

It's a long read but probably worth your time.

I love this part (emphasis mine):

“Whoever wrote this document is clearly confused about the nature of ‘open source’ information. Not only does the key information it contains not appear to be open source, but a simple search of Facebook can disprove one of the key tenets of the assessment,” Waters told The Daily Beast.

He also took a dig at one of the many amateurish elements in the MACE presentation. “Perhaps the authors should have spent more time testing their analysis rather than working out how to crop the eye of Sauron into a logo copy-pasted from the internet,” Waters said.

Again, Trump’s America gets outplayed by German/EU intelligence. These idiots are so focused on the origin of the virus that they’ve lost all credibility in dealing with the actual story, which seems to be a bit of WHO collusion with Chinese authorities in suppressing initial news of the outbreak and how it was spreading.

Ah, so this might explain why Australia was taking point on calling for an investigation into China over this. The dumbest part is Imgur was falling over itself to applaud them for it, nevermind how the Australian government has major fuckups of its own that it doesn't want people looking into.

Cheney was way better at fabricating evidence than this gang of clowns.

Was he though? They're both just pointing to vague made up bullshit that they intentionally distorted to justify their bullshit. They're more formal and less "internet forum flunky photoshop" but its all the same behavior.

The scientists are mainly in agreement that the CV jumped to humans from, bats>intermediary mammal>humans

They say its a 5 year ban, so lets see if its really true and if they are going to police it.

Lion, bat and pangolin off the menu as Chinese city of Wuhan bans consumption of wild animals

It's the same thing as elk, venison, buffalo & rattlesnake, isn't it? Alligator? Turtle?

I'm reminded of the Paedofinder Generale:

Paedo-Finder General: Your gayness condemns you; it is written in stone.
Gay Man: Where?
Paedo-Finder General: On the wall behind the bus station - I carved it there myself; I have seen it with mine own eyes!

Yup - it's a hoax alright, a hoax from the Right, not the Left.

Snow flakes, crisis actors, murderers, pedophiles, traitors, etc. - all the things the Left was called by the Right was just pure projection.

Pretty close, they really don't need banning as much as major regulation around it. I think it is more an issue around how they are stored, butchered and sold which causes disease spread. However, it is entirely possible that some animals, like bats, cannot be made safe for consumption. China has a serious issue with lax regulations in food, construction, etc. Somewhat ironic given how authoritarian the government is.

Turtles are actually farmed in china. Somewhat common food item.
