The drone reference wasnt at the article but at those who attack when the orders are given.

Nonetheless, the article speaks for itself. The rest is just you guys ignoring it and trying to change the subject with irrelevant ad hominems. If a right wing poster starts a thread based on a news story, is it right to ignore the topic and instead make comments about how the OP is taking marching order from Rush Limbaugh?

Thx Wolf for the non-biased assessment of my post. I am used to Genx87 and FNE's personal attacks to bad they don't comment on my posts.

Seems like weak sauce to me. I don't see any big deal.

They hired Newt for consulting and he wasn't a lobbyist. That's what he said and the article doesn't disagree with that. Also I'm not very impressed with unnamed sources who claim to be "familiar" with the work. I take "familiar" to mean not "involved". Surely if they were actually involved, and therefore have first-hand info, they would have said so.

That they were hoping that by hiring him and getting his advice conservatives might be more favorable to them or him criticizing them harshly after leaving, are neither unexpected, extraordinary or outrageous in any way.

I feel more like complaining about Freddie Mac blowing that kind of money.

Edit: Forgot to add that Newt has said he must limit his remarks about the consulting work due to a non-disclosure clause. That sounds right. You'd expect there to be one. So if he's not very forth-coming it should be expected.

LOL... Love that look on his face. Faux News is at it again with the "D" slip-ups. Funny how they are the only "news" network that does this consistently.

Shit, they just don't give it up. What is this mistake number 517.

Why does anyone watch that RepubliCon propaganda machine.

At least the UK is finally fed up with the Murdock public opinion manipulator by blackmail organization.

Oh.... can't someone just put these poor losers out of their misery?
I mean really....
Is this any way to run a national election?
Watching the news media attempting to put a positive spin on all this is painful.
Like saying getting hit by a car is better than getting hit by a bus.
Like getting hit, in the first place, is something acceptable...
And what it this doing to our kids?
Anyone figure in that child wondering just how ignorant can mommie and daddie really be?

So let me get this straight...

Newt was taking millions from Freddie Mac to help their staff developing their lobbying effort in Congress while at the same time making then a boogeyman with conservatives while at the same time saying...

Where have we seen this dance before???

One question I would ask his Newtness...

When will you be turning yourself in to the authorities?
