Busted my Garmin eTrex Legend GPS

The screen of my GPS recently became scratched badly and I want to repair it.

I will assume that it's just the front face cover - not the actual LCD screen - that is scratched since it is a sealed, waterproof unit.

I really do not want to send my unit to a repair center since the one here in Canada has a HORRIBLE reputation.

Anybody here ever open one of these or attempt a repair job?

i've opened it up before and it's not bad...it's held on by adhesives more than it is any kind of screw IIRC.
