Bust Buy Cares

Almost every time I goto Best Buy to get some new release movies, I get a customer satisfaction survey that claims I could win a $500 giftcard if I fill it out. I used to rarely get them, but now it seems like they're being printed out every time.

Have you ever won anything or know anyone who has from filling out their survey? I'm wondering if ANYONE at all has... or if it's just some ploy to get customer feedback and they never intend on giving out the giftcard.

knowing BB.......

Yes, they print with every transaction. They will not spam you but they do mainly use it to get customer feedback numbers.

I haven't won a giftcard, but there was a phone survey I did once. This was probably 3 years ago, but if I did the survey it'd spit out a code that was good for $5 off my next purchase.

Having worked at BB for almost a year and having filled those out before. They don't spam you with anything for filling it out. Yes they do have people win them. It is one gift card drawing per month.

I've never been spammed by best buy for filling these out. They *used* to be a random printout, now I guess they're printing them all the time... oh well. I was just curious if anyone had won.

why sign up for spam?

that's exactly what I was thinking...

They started asking for phone numbers and addresses. I asked if I declined would it affect anything, they said no so I didn't give them squat. I paid with cash, by the way.
