Business Workstations: Who makes 'em?

Whatever happened to the business workstation market? Who supports it today and still makes stuff to the desire of SparcStations back in the late 90s? Discuss.

HP makes some nice workstations. What are you looking for? Or is this just a general question?

Yeah I was looking at Sun too, but it is a general question. Just want to know what manufacturers still make them.

I'll second the HP recommendation. I use one of the new A64 3500+ workstations. It's really nice, stock out of the box. Comes stock with 1GB dual channel ram, 80GB SATA drive. No floppy. Tons of USB ports. Onboard video, but it has a PCI-E slot. Not sure if it's a 16x though. Nice business pc/workstation for the money.

The HP offerings do look attractive and seem to be a full cut above their normal home market products.

Do they or anyone else offer Opteron workstations, however? A quad-core rig sounds yummy, but I don't want some gay game-spec rig with neon lights, a skull coming out of the front case faceplate and a window on the side to show off 17 fans. Y'know?

Yup, we have these at work as well - Very fast for a "business" PC
