Business School

Ok, I have been going to a local state school for a while now and am currently in my junior year of college. I have a 3.5 GPA and take part in numerous activities during the semester while having a job. Up untill the end of last semester I didnt really know what I wanted to do which is kinda why I was in this school, didnt want to spend tons of money on a school when i had no idea what I wanted to do. I started in computer science but found out that I dont have the love for programming that you need, then I went to economics, and now I am business. I really like business accoutning and finance but I feel that my school isnt the best for it, being a local PA college school. I want to transfer to a college that is better known for its school of business so I can get more out of the classes and be better off when I graduate. My questions are...

Is it too late..I am alreayd a junior..on track to graduate ontime with either summer classes or + 1 extra semseter.
What school would you suggest if you dont think its too late. Local schools near me that are known for business are Pitt, and PSU. These are both instate which make tuition a heck of alot cheaper.

Thoughts please.

If you are really far into your college career (it sounds like you are, since you will graduate in 2007 of spring?), then lots of colleges will not not even bother with your application unless you go for a different major where you will spends atleast 2 years at that school.

bump for any opinions.

*dont see how the above comment can be possible since most colleges (these being major colleges) i have looked at require atleast 50 credits(2 years of college credits) to transfer.

go to state, I don't know about pitt. If this is your third year you might lose a year's worth of credits.

If you don't like econ you'll never make it in Finance. Accounting is a good field to get into, but you'll most likely end up in marketing since that is where business students who don't like econ seem to end up. Marketing is also the easiest.

If you are going to stick with accounting, don't bother transfering since all that matters is the CPA exam. You can also go to a better school for your masters in tax accountancy.
