hi,

i was recently given paper work to fill out for my business. it's a proprietorship. i'm under the age of 18.... can i sign where it says authorized signature? i'm basically the person who runs the whole company but its under my dads name since i'm under age.

You can NOT enter into any type of LEGAL contract if you are under 18.

Also do you mean sole-proprietorship is how you company is formed?
If so that is BAD. Do a type S-Corp, or LLC. You get better legal protection like a Corp., but the tax advantages of a sole-proprietorship business.
