Business Licenses?

Who would I call to see if I need a business license (if any) or something like that locally to run a web hosting business?

I'm thinking of signing up a few people I work on computers for (maybe I need a license for that too?) and wanted to know if it's legal to just get a server and start hosting for them. It wouldn't be an amazing amount of money, but just something right now to cover the server costs for my hobby website.

Also, I live in Florida if that helps. I currently put down my side-jobs as being a sole-proprietorship on my income statement.

you'll need to go to the city hall in which your business' location resides in. Call them.

If you go legit with your business you will be opening up a can of worms that will eat you alive.
