Hi all
I'm currently with a UK-based business continuity company, and basically having shut down a whole swathe of my business, I no longer need (or to be more precise, do not want to pay for) the super-duper data vaulting service that I'm contracted to at the moment. An element of my business will carry on, and I need Internet backup of current data. None of it is particularly sensitive anymore, although I have to satisfy some regulatory requirements.
I'm looking at services like iBackup, looking at the prices and am very attracted to companies like these - but they're invariably US-based.
And those regulatory requirements put a spanner in the works:
1) Service must be not only operational, but also hold data in the EU. The backed-up data must not leave the EU.
2) Service must satisfy basic security requirements. This translates to user-held encryption keys, end-to-end encryption, and operation in a Tier 4 Datacentre.
From an operational point of view, it would also be desirable that they offer a next-day courier delivery of restore media on an 'as needed' basis.
Can anyone recommend me a service which would offer Internet backup of files, Exchange and SQL Server data in the EU which satisfies the above?
