Business casual dining attire

Ok, when a restaurant requires you to wear "Business Casual" attire, what are sound guidelines to follow for men?

I don't want to show up too over dressed or under,....

at my company business casual means jeans and polo. Some companies require at least khaki pants and a polo. My guess is a no jeans and collared shirt. why don't you call them and ask.

Business casual is usually work clothes minus the tie

I'd go with a minimum of khaki's and a polo shirt. But you can go up from there. Just no jeans and no t-shirts.

This is exactly with what I would go with.

i would go with slacks, collared shirt and jacket. you can't go wrong with that.
