Interesting deal. I hope this isn't one of those "junk" scopes other stores sell for like 100 bucks.

Actually, this is one of those junk telescopes. There really isn't a good 3" reflector telescope and ANY telescope that advertises a power rating over 50x the diameter of the telescope, in this case 612, is junk. If this were a refractor you might be able to get a maximum usable power of 150x on a perfect night.
