My bushes are starting to become covered in Spider Webs.

I don't want to keep buying cheap bug spray that I have to spray every week.

Anybody have any tips? I'm scouring google now so I'll post my own results.

Have you tried using a water hose and blasting those suckers? Not a permanent solution, but a pretty cheap and safe solution.

I guess if you live in Cali, you can't do this. Then again, the bushes will die anyway.

Spiders eat other bugs, and by and large don't bother people. Ignore them and the'll do the same for you.

As long as they don't come inside it doesn't bother me. Once they cross that boundary it's open season.

I trimmed the bushes pretty good.

I read that when bushes get too dense, it harbors a dark and cool environment where spiders flourish. If you keep bushes trim, they are more open and spiders don't like them as much.

Then I used my leaf blower to shake up the bushes and blow things around.

After that I sprayed them down with a house. (it was going to rain soon anyway)

So far so good.
